Erosion & Sediment Training Offered to PA Professionals
Please help spread the word to your partners in the private sector! The Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts, Inc. (PACD) in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is offering Erosion and Sediment (E&S) Manual trainings beginning in August 2012. This two-day extensive training will allow attendees to pose questions about the latest manual and further their understanding for work in their communities.
The training cost is $300 and covers all materials, including the current E&S manual, and meals. All attendees, who complete the training, will receive a certificate noting they have obtained 12 professional development hours for their participation.
Download the event flyer here. For more information, contact Brandi Hunter-Davenport, PACD Director of Education, at 717-238-7223 x 17 or email brandi-davenport@pacd.org.
Each conservation district will be allowed to send up to two staffers free of charge. If you are interested, please contact Brandi by July 27. Additionally, a free Erosion & Sediment training for conservation district staff is currently being planned for spring 2013.
