North Central Region Director Ed Zinser Visits PACD
Ed Zinser, PACD North Central (NC) Region Director, recently traveled to Harrisburg and spent the day at PACD’s headquarters.
Ed Zinser and Robert Maiden commemorate the passage of Act 13, which provided predictable long-term funding for the districts.
While in town, Mr. Zinser had the opportunity to sit with PACD Executive Director, Robert Maiden. The two discussed some county outreach Mr. Zinser would like to conduct as Region Director while also looking at opportunities to continue building on PACD’s framework and relationships across Pennsylvania. Additionally, Mr. Zinser provided some valuable insight regarding training opportunities PACD hopes to be able to offer to the public in the future.
“Ed has been an extremely active leader since becoming the NC Region Director this past fall,” said Maiden. “He has given us positive recommendations and ideas we can implement which will aid PACD as we continue being responsive to the districts and their needs.
“Ed had a chance to see us in our home environment and learn about our day-to-day operations,” Maiden added. “We really enjoyed his time with us and look forward to his next trip our way.”
The Office of Communications, Education and Outreach also snagged a few moments of Mr. Zinser’s time and had him record a 60-second public service announcement to promote tips all residents can take in helping to conserve the state’s resources.
