TARGET AUDIENCE
Appropriate for those who attended a Basic training held at Fort Indiantown Gap in the years 2000-2011, no rx those who attended one track of level II last year and would now like to attend the other, and those with 1 to 3 years of professional experience.

Please note: Boot Camp is not a two-week course. The instructors prefer that you use the information you learned in Basic for a year and take Level II the year following Basic. Participants are discouraged from applying for Basic and Level II in the same year.

COURSE CONTENT
General (provided to all): Conservation Planning and Ag Waste System Planning –  plus the topics covered by your “track.”

FEES
Participant registration fees are waived.  Funding is provided through a Special Leadership Development Project Grant, sponsored by the Natural Resources Conservation Service,  PA Department of  Agriculture/State Conservation Commission and The Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds.

Rate: $59.95 (includes tax) for 2 queen beds or 1 king  (single or double occupancy). You must ask for the “PACD Room Block” when making your reservation. The room block expires on April 16.

PACD will reimburse conservation districts (up to $65/person/day) for the lodging of those whose office is more than 45 miles away from Fort Indiantown Gap. This reimbursement applies to conservation districts only.

The training itself will still be held at the Community Club at Fort Indiantown Gap.

MEALS
Morning break, lunch, and afternoon break will be provided. Breakfast and dinner will not be provided. A continental breakfast is available at the Days Inn from 6-10am which includes hot waffles, bagels, muffins, toast, fruit, cereal, danish, tea, coffee, and juice.
