This training was funded through a grant from the PA Department of Environmental Protection, there and made possible through the cooperation of the PA Association of Conservation Districts, the PA State Conservation Commission, the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Pennsylvania’s conservation districts.

Appropriate for a newly hired conservation district E&S technician or any conservation district staff who can benefit from a comprehensive, advanced, E&S training course.
Please note a policy change regarding registration for these workshops: Applicants are welcome to register for Level I AND/OR Level II, as deemed appropriate (previously, applicants were limited to Level I OR Level II).
Participant registration fees are waived. Funding is provided through a grant from the PA Department of Environmental Protection.
Lodging and Mileage
Participants are expected to attend all five days of the training. Registration for this training is limited and, if your application is accepted, we will be holding a seat for you.
Lodging – A room block has been reserved at the Days Inn Lebanon/Fort Indiantown Gap at the rate of $59.95 including tax. PACD will reimburse conservation districts for up to four nights of lodging at the above rate for each participant.

Mileage – PACD will reimburse conservation districts for travel to and from the training at the rate of $.51 per mile.
Morning break, lunch, and afternoon break will be provided. For those staying overnight, a continental breakfast is available at the Days Inn from 6-10 am that includes hot waffles, bagels, muffins, toast, fruit, cereal, danish, tea, coffee, and juice. Dinner will be provided Mon-Thu at Fort Indiantown Gap for all attendees who select this option. A resource of local restaurants is available here.
