Manure Management Manual and Chapter 102 Compliance Workshops Mini-grant Program
Through the Clean Water Fund and the Chesapeake Bay Implementation Grant, the PA Department of Environmental Protection is making available up to $1,000 to all 66 conservation districts to hold local Manure Management Manual workshops. These sessions would be for producers/landowners to improve awareness of the revised Manure Management Manual. These sessions would assist farmers in understanding manure management requirements and lead to development of a complete manure management plan. Click here for more information.
Deadline to apply for additional funding: May 31, 2012.
