This training provides an overview of a variety of technical topics related to ag conservation professions. Participants will gain a foundational awareness in areas such as hydraulics, pasture planning, agronomic BMPs, construction inspection, soils, considering wildlife in ag conservation planning, and promoting conservation for forest systems. Material is applicable to a variety of conservation careers within agriculture. Not all topics will specifically apply to one employee\u2019s current position. Take advantage of this free training opportunity which includes both classroom learning and experience in the field! Five days will be in-person and two will be virtual.<\/p>\r\n
Virtual Training: In-person Training:\u00a0<\/span> Keystone Conference Center Please note that one track will meet at the Keystone Conference Center, and the other will meet at the USDA NRCS State Office, Harrisburg, PA.<\/i><\/p>\r\n Appropriate for those who attended Basic or Level II training (and want to take the alternate track) in the years 2000-2025.<\/p>\r\n Please note: Boot Camp is not a two-week course. The training curriculum intends for participants to use the material learned in Basic for one year prior to attending Level II. Do not apply for Basic and Level II in the same year.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n If you do not receive confirmation from PACD, you will not be admitted. No walk-ins will be accepted. \r\nBoth in-person and all virtual training sessions are required to complete the course unless\u00a0you previously attended Level II on one track and are now returning for the other.
