Photo taken by Brenda Shambaugh.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\n<p>The Conservation District Managers \u201cBoot Camp\u201d was held June 19-21 at Lake Raystown Resort and Conference Center in Entriken, PA.<\/p>\r\n<p>This three-day training was specifically developed for district managers with less than five years of experience. The event focused on providing participants with a knowledge base that includes the history and structure of a conservation district, an overview of conservation district programs and activities, the responsibilities managing a district office, district finances and personnel, and working with a conservation district board.<\/p>\r\n<p>The training was provided by <a href=\"https:\/\/paleadership.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pennsylvania\u2019s \u201cBuilding for Tomorrow\u201d Leadership Development Program<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Conservation District Managers \u201cBoot Camp\u201d was held June 19-21 at Lake Raystown Resort and Conference Center in Entriken, PA.
