{"id":16934,"date":"2018-01-29T19:31:49","date_gmt":"2018-01-29T19:31:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pacd.org\/?p=16934"},"modified":"2018-01-29T19:31:49","modified_gmt":"2018-01-29T19:31:49","slug":"pacd-scc-winter-meeting-concludes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pacd.org\/?p=16934","title":{"rendered":"PACD\/SCC Winter Meeting Concludes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_16935\" style=\"width: 260px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pacd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/WMCouncil.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16935\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16935\" src=\"https:\/\/pacd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/WMCouncil.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"145\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-16935\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The PACD Executive Board holds the Executive Council meeting on January 18, 2018.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\n<p>From January 17-18, 2018, conservation district directors, associate directors, staff, partners, and friends braved the snowy roads to travel to Toftrees in State College for the PACD\/SCC Winter Meeting.<\/p>\r\n<p>During Executive Council the following were approved:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Bylaws change to allow associate directors to serve as region directors.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Bylaws change to allow every board member a vote on the PACD Executive Board.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Policy opposing an abbreviated permit review period.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Cliff Lane was elected as National Association of Conservation Districts Director.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Also during the meeting, a 50\/50 drawing was held to benefit the PA Envirothon. Because winner Kelly Stagen donated her winnings back to the Envirothon, PACD was able to write a check for $309 to the Envirothon.<\/p>\r\n<p>Next, PACD is turning its focus toward the NACD Northeast Regional Meeting &amp; PACD\/SCC Joint Annual Conference which will take place July 15-18, 2018 in Lancaster, PA.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From January 17-18, 2018, conservation district directors, associate directors, staff, partners, and friends braved the snowy roads to travel to Toftrees in State College for the PACD\/SCC Winter Meeting.
