About 4,000 township officials from across the\nCommonwealth attended the three-day event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nprimary focus of the district exhibit was to share information about conservation\ndistrict programs and initiatives that affect local townships. The district\nvolunteers helped build new relationships and reinforce existing relationships\nwith township officials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In\naddition, Cliff Lane, PACD North West Region Director; Chris Strohmaier, Chester\nCounty Conservation District Manager; Dave Rupert, Armstrong Conservation\nDistrict Manager; and Lori Glace Cumberland County Conservation District Watershed\nSpecialist\/Dirt, Gravel, and Low Volume Roads; conducted a workshop entitled,\n\u201cThe Dirt on Conservation Districts.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Many\nthanks to Lance Bowes, Sharon Pletchan, Evan Corondi, and Kelsey Schwenk for\ntheir help at the conference!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>District volunteers helped at the conservation district table at this year\u2019s PA State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) Conference from Sunday, April 14, through Tuesday, April 17.
