The conference is open to\nall non-management conservation district staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Productive\nConflict &amp; Emotional Intelligence <\/strong>will be the focus of the Day 1 Keynote session.\nUnderstanding what emotional intelligence is and why it\u2019s important to develop\nis crucial in maintaining good relationships with your team and dealing\neffectively with difficult people. The presentation will introduce four\nattributes of emotional intelligence and a quadrant model. Participants will\nexplore scenarios for utilizing each attribute and take a self-scored inventory\nto identify and better understand their individual and team behavior styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This\nsession will be presented by Janet McNally, D.Ed. SPHR, of Camp\nHill-based Team Development Services. Janet brings over 25 years of experience\nin human resources and organization development consulting and is an instructor\nfor management and leadership courses at Penn State York. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Day 2 Keynote session,<strong>\nGetting Things Done through Time Management, <\/strong>will provide an informative\nand entertaining take on navigating the productivity and time management\nchallenges everyone faces in their daily lives. Participants will discover the\nsecrets of effective time management and learn why it has <em>nothing<\/em> to do\nwith cramming more into your day and to-do list. The presentation will cover\npowerful tools for time management that will help change your thinking about\ntime, develop daily discipline for how you spend it, maximize your impact at\nwork, build the foundations for professional success, and improve your peace of\nmind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This session will be presented by Cindy Aronson of Cindy Aronson Workplace Training, based in Bemus Point, NY.
