Strategic Planning Grants totaling over $4800 were awarded to reimburse 2019-2020 planning costs for these districts. For 2020-2021, the State Conservation Commission has allocated funding for grants to reimburse up to a maximum of $1,500 in expenses (per district) related to developing a strategic plan. In order to be eligible for these funds, conservation districts must meet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paleadership.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Strategic-Planning-Grants-20-21.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">program requirements<\/a>,\u00a0and priority will be given to conservation districts that did not receive a strategic planning grant in the past five years.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline to submit a Letter of Intent for this year&#8217;s program is Friday, November 20.
