To celebrate, Juniata County Conservation District installed a riparian buffer educational sign at the Christian Retreat Center in East Waterford to explain the benefits of planting trees for water quality protection.<\/p>\n<p>The signage was created from templates produced by PACD through a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dep.pa.gov\/Citizens\/EnvironmentalEducation\/Grants\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PA Department of Environmental Protection Environmental Education Grant<\/a>.\u00a0The templates are available <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1uCLCAKqz0LPh4fa1W0nHqYrmyuABkxer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October is Riparian Buffer month!
