Several conservationists were recognized during the awards luncheon on July 20, 2022.<\/p>\r\n<p>The 2022 PACD honorees are as follows:\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p><strong><u>Legislator Leadership Award<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Representative James B. Struzzi II<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>The Indiana County Conservation District nominated representative Struzzi.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong><u>President\u2019s Award<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><strong>PACD<\/strong> <strong>Ad Hoc Budget Committee<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Members of the committee include:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Christopher Thompson (Lancaster County)<\/li>\r\n\t<li>John Dryzal (Cambria County)<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Josh Longmore (Luzerne County)<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Mark Hamilton (Tioga County)<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Emil Bove (Westmoreland County)<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Douglas Beri Jr. (Indiana County)<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Christopher B. Snyder (Juniata County)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong><u>Ann Rudd Saxman Conservation District Director Excellence Award<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Ted Veresink, Northampton County Conservation District<\/p>\r\n<p><strong><u>Conservation District Employee Excellence Award<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Scott Metzger, Franklin County Conservation District<\/p>\r\n<p><strong><u>Conservation District Trash Champion<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>The Washington County Conservation District collected 46 bags and 10 tons of trash and tires!
