Eleven entries from 2025 were screened to showcase the talent and hard work of district content creators, and a short panel discussion on video production and impact followed the awards presentation.\u00a0Links to all 2025 CDVA entries are posted at Building for Tomorrow: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paleadership.org\/blog\/\">https:\/\/www.paleadership.org\/blog\/<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0Place Award:\u00a0<em>Tannersville Cranberry Bog<\/em>, submitted by Derek Lederer, Monroe County Conservation District<\/li>\r\n\t<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0Place Award:\u00a0<em>DSA Day<\/em>, submitted by Hannah Kulbitsky, Schuylkill Conservation District<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Runner-Up Awards:\u00a0<em>Erosion &amp; Sediment Control: Protecting Pennsylvania\u2019s Natural Resources<\/em>, submitted by Logan Freed, Bucks County Conservation District &amp;\u00a0<em>Why Streambank Stabilization Matters<\/em>, submitted by Jeffrey Kim, Washington County Conservation District<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4><strong>Register Now for \u201cBack to Basics\u201d Director Orientation Workshop<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<p>Registration is open for \u201cBack to Basics\u201d Director Orientation workshops, offered regionally across the state in March and April.<\/p>\r\n<p>The session includes fundamentals for all new district directors and associate directors, including an overview of conservation district history, legal compliance, governance best practices, and partnerships, with a focus on roles, responsibilities, and engagement.<\/p>\r\n<p>Workshops are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and include a working lunch. All district and partner personnel are welcome to participate. Registration is free and required.
