The Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts administers Meaningful Watershed Education Experience (MWEE) grants for projects where conservation districts and schools in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed team up to provide hands-on watershed experiences for K-12 students.

Funding for the grants is provided through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Chesapeake Bay Office’s B-WET Program. NOAA’s Education Strategic Plan Information on applying directly to NOAA for projects outside the scope of the PACD MWEE mini-grant program.

There will not be a 2011-12 grant round due to the funding being frozen.
