Montgomery County Conservation District Completes Buffer Project

Montgomery County Conservation District planted .33 acres of multi-functional riparian forest buffer in the Perkiomen Creek Watershed. The project cost $5,772.80 and was paid for through PACD’s multi-functional buffer sub-grant program.
The Lawn Conversion & Riparian Buffer Mini-Grant Program for Conservation Districts is financed in part by a grant from the Community Conservation Partnerships Program, Environmental Stewardship Fund, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation.
