Target Audience

Appropriate for any conservation district E&S technician who can benefit from training on the topics provided. (See course content and draft agenda below.)

Course Content

This advanced/topic-based training focuses on specific topics that reach beyond straightforward E&S, sale including PCSM, MS4, Site Stabilization, Act 2 sites, geothermal and more.


Registration Fees

Participant registration fees are waived. Funding is provided through a grant from the PA Department of Environmental Protection.

Lodging and Mileage Reimbursement

Lodging and travel reimbursement forms will be provided and must be submitted by each district for reimbursement. See details below.


A room block has been reserved at the Days Inn Lebanon/Fort Indiantown Gap at the rate of $59.95 including tax. PACD will reimburse conservation districts for up to two nights of lodging at the above rate (or up to $119.90) for each participant.

Mileage Reimbursement

PACD will reimburse conservation districts for travel to and from the training at the state mileage reimbursement rate up to $300.00 per district.


Morning break, lunch, and afternoon break will be provided. For those staying overnight, a continental breakfast is available at the Days Inn from 6-10 am that includes hot waffles, bagels, muffins, toast, fruit, cereal, danish, tea, coffee, and juice. Dinner will be provided Mon-Thu at Fort Indiantown Gap for all attendees who select this option. A resource of local restaurants is available here.
