2011-12 Educational Mini-grant Program for Conservation Districts
Pennsylvania’s County Conservation Districts received more than $55, look site 000 for 32 projects in 27 counties that promote water pollution prevention strategies through the Non-point Source (NPS) Pollution Prevention Educational Mini-grant Program.

Grants up to $2,000 were awarded to conservation districts for adult educational projects that offer new and innovative strategies for reducing and preventing NPS Pollution. Projects stimulate a local awareness of water quality issues, promote the theme “We All Live Downstream,” and encourage citizen participation in activities to improve water quality in local watersheds. The application deadline for the spring round was March 28, 2011.
